Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Jackson County, Indiana. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
