Join our team: we are hiring a carpenter in Halifax County, North Carolina. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage The role involves: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
