Safety officer wanted in Cabarrus County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
