Immediate opening: hand presser (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. You will be based at a garment factory. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
