Reinforcement steel fixer • Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
