TIG welder wanted in Randolph County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Randolph County, Illinois. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
