Road roller operator • Socorro County, New Mexico

Great opportunity: we are hiring a road roller operator in Socorro County, New Mexico. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. The role involves keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
