Argon welder wanted in Tuscarawas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
