Foundry operative wanted in Adair County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Adair County, Missouri. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
