Urgent requirement: gang bricklayer (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Borough of Rochdale, England. You will be based on a busy housing site. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
