Site safety steward • Pike County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Pike County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements On the job you will handle: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Part-time with flexible hours.
