Lift maintenance fitter • Lorain County, Ohio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Lorain County, Ohio. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Performance bonus on top of base pay.
