Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Brookings County, South Dakota. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
