We are recruiting: argon welder (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
