Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Crenshaw County, Alabama. The role involves strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
