Spray painter (automotive) • Washington County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Washington County, Florida. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. On the job you will handle: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to read and match factory paint codes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
