Great opportunity: groundworker (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Niagara County, New York. The job is on a commercial building project. On the job you will handle: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
