Sheet metal press operator — Kanawha County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. You should have: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Record output and downtime on the production sheet 4+ years on the tools preferred.
