Join our team: heavy equipment operator (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Jefferson County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
