We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Buena Vista County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
