Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Pawnee County, Nebraska. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
