Finishing presser wanted in Blackford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Blackford County, Indiana. The job is in a busy laundry. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
