Metal caster wanted in Harvey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Harvey County, Kansas. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
