Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Derbyshire, England. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts The role involves keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures.
