The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Full-time with occasional weekends.
