Health and safety supervisor wanted in Boone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Boone County, Indiana. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
