GTAW welder wanted in Linn County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Linn County, Missouri. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
