Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Rotherham, England. You will be based on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
