Natural gas fitter • Lincoln County, Nevada

Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Lincoln County, Nevada. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. You will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
