Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Scotland County, Missouri. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day to day you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser.
