Port container crane operator • Bourbon County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Bourbon County, Kansas. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On a typical shift you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
