Now hiring: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in City of Hopewell, Virginia. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. On a typical shift you will wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust. Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale 4+ years on the tools preferred.
