PVC window installer — Iowa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Iowa County, Wisconsin. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Your main tasks: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
