Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in York County, Virginia. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
