Shuttering and concrete hand — Kankia

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Kankia, Katsina State. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
