Urgent requirement: milling machinist (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Medway, England. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits.
