Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Anglesey, Wales. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around £145 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
