Crawler dozer operator • Logan County, West Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Logan County, West Virginia. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. The role involves: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Six days a week, one day off.
