Vacancy available: we are hiring a stone mason in O'Brien County, Iowa. You will work at a kitchen worktop showroom. On a typical shift you will level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound. You should have: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Part-time with flexible hours.
