Thermal insulation technician • Henry County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Henry County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy building site. The role involves: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant Requirements: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
