We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Rooks County, Kansas. You will work in a supermarket meat department. The role involves run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 5+ years on the tools preferred.
