Urgent requirement: paint and prep technician (Cross River State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Obudu, Cross River State. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns On a typical shift you will mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun.
