Banksman wanted in Lisburn and Castlereagh

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Lisburn and Castlereagh, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a shipyard. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
