Production operative • Childress County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production operative in Childress County, Texas. You will work in a CNC machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
