Backhoe loader operator • Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a road-building project. Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
