Gtaw welder — Caddo Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 2+ years on the tools preferred.
