TIG welder wanted in Monroe County

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Monroe County, Iowa. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Overtime paid at a premium rate.
