Brick mason wanted in Caledonia County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will be based on a commercial construction site. The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 1+ years on the tools preferred.
