Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Larue County, Kentucky. The job is on a busy housing site. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Full-time with occasional weekends.
