Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Webster Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
